Primetime TV's favorite firefighting squad is coming back for another season, set to premiere this week.
Season 8 of "9-1-1" will start with a three-episode arc, producers told several outlets, and will plunge viewers right into the drama from the get-go as the team fights against a dangerous swarm of bees. According to showrunners, this insect emergency will quickly morph into another situation that demands even more of the team as the episodes go on.
Interpersonal conflict abound as well this season, between Bobby (Peter Krause) leaving station 118, Gerrard (Brian Thompson) taking his spot as captain, developments in Buck (Oliver Stark) and Tommy's (Lou Ferrigno Jr.) relationship, Eddie (Ryan Guzman) sending his son Christopher (Gavin McHugh) to live with his grandparents and a whole lot more.
Looking forward to catching up with station 118? Here's how to watch the season premiere.
