T.I. and Tiny’s daughter is ready to follow in their footsteps.
After all, the duo’s youngest, Heiress, held her own on the 2024 BET Awards red carpet, where she shared insight into life as the daughter of T.I. and Tiny (real names Clifford Joseph Harris and Tameka Dianne Cottle-Harris).
“My dad says to keep working hard,” the 8-year-old explained to E! News’ Francesca Amiker outside the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles June 30, of the secret to success, noting that while her mom helps her practice singing her dad “just be working.”
Still, Heiress—who is the younger sister to Clifford, 18 and Major, 16—already has goals for her future in performing. In fact, she teased some potential future collaborators.
“I would want to work with Keke Palmer,” she continued, and after weighing options between making music or a movie with the multihyphenate, she specified that she’d love to see them do, “a song.”
And the “Be You” singer, who performed with social media star Savannah 'VanVan' Mcconneaughey at the June 30 ceremony, also shared how she was feeling before her big performance.
“I don’t get nervous,” Heiress, who wore a bedazzled leather jacket and sparkly silver T-shirt, explained, “because I’m a superstar.”
Naturally, T.I.—who is also stepfather to Zonnique, 28, as well as sharing Messiah, 23, and Dormani, 22, with ex Lashon Dixon, as well as Deyjah, 22, with Ranniqua Brannum—couldn’t help but gush over his youngest.
“She never ceases to amaze me,” T.I. explained, emphasizing he was “immensely” proud of Heiress. “I’m honored and proud to be a part of her journey. Just proud to usher her into the next phase of life and want her to do what she loves and follow her dreams.”
In addition to Heiress getting one step further in her dreams, the 2024 BET Awards saw some of the biggest stars on its red carpet. Keep reading to see all of the fashion from the evening.
